Job Detail: <P><STRONG>Descripition of Duties:</STRONG></P> <P>In this position you will be part of the team that provides the quality leadership withn the Print Facility<BR>Manufacturing Operations. This includes the Press, Envelope, Plastics and Finishing Departments. Key responsibility <BR>is to ensure that each job produced meets IWCO Direct and customer job specifications. this includes, but not limited<BR>to compliance with job ticket information, copy and position proof, and color proofs.</P> <UL> <LI>Perform Reader Sign-Off to verify that copy, position, register, and color are meeting the customers product<BR>specifications &amp; quality standards. <LI>Perform color quality checks of press pull sheet using customer signed color proof and Pantone Matching System<BR>(PMS) as the source reference. <LI>Rule-up each press pull sheet to trim line to verify copy, fold perforation, and trim position to ensure<BR>compliance with job ticket information and quality standards. <LI>Notify equipment operator of any identified quality issues and reach agreement on necessary corrective action. <LI>Collaborate with all manufacturing shift supervisors on any non-compliance quality issue to determine the action<BR>required to correct any non-compliance quality issue. <LI>Issue a daily shift report that documents quality issues and action taken over the shift. <LI>Contribute to the Quality Assurance Coordinator team to ensure that Quality Standards &amp; Standard Operating Procedures <BR>are adhered to. <LI>Maintain the quality assurance operator quality pull storage archive. <LI>Administer the Quality Issue Documentation Process.</LI></UL> <P><BR><STRONG>Experience/ Education Requirements:</STRONG></P> <UL> <LI>High School education, or equivalent, or compararble work experience. <LI>Technical College Degree preferred with concentration in Graphic Arts/ Printing <LI>Minimum 3+ years experience preferred <LI>Previous quality experience preferred</LI></UL> <P><STRONG>Physical Requirements:</STRONG></P> <UL> <LI>Standard production enviroment <LI>Hearing protection required</LI></UL> <P>EEO/AA/M/F/D/V</P>
